N³: Nevada Nonprofit Network

Nevada Nonprofit Network of Southern Nevada is a grassroots initiative designed to support and develop working professionals with nonprofit careers, and the organizations they represent. The project began with our once-a-month Nerdy Nonprofit Network Events: 'cocktail hours with learning problems' for employees in the nonprofit sector. Each month, a theme is selected and volunteers experienced in that theme come as guest co-hosts (ex: Volunteer Coordinator for Volunteering Month). The co-hosts don't present or sit on a panel, they attend like everyone else. The attendees are encouraged to come with conversational questions on the topic, which they can ask if they want to. If not, they are welcome to come just to chat and relax with their fellow nonprofit professionals serving our community. These events are a member-driven volunteer project created under the Southern Nevada Chapter of Young nonprofit Professionals Network. It is with their support that the events have gone from a seedling of an idea to a recurring, welcomed event among Southern Nevada's novice and experienced nonprofit professionals
