Nerve Wearables is a tech startup that will change the way we interact with technology by making it more natural.
Today, mobile and wearable technologies are at the forefront of the consumer electronics industry. Driven by technical advances in low-power devices and high-speed computing, we now have the ability to do things that not so long ago were considered impossible. Furthermore, wearable solutions are at the focal point of innovative consumers who want a seamless interface between their actions, gadgets and environment. This concept is our vision and motivation, embedded at the heart of Nerve.
For the last year we have been working hard on this idea, increasing our understanding of our relationship with technology, recognizing the importance of a seamless wearable interaction with our surrounding devices.
We developed a wearable armband that recognizes hand gestures while also tracking arm motion. This allows us to send commands to any connected device without any effort, making an interface from a very natural form of human communication. Nerve will be the only thing you need to control all technology around you. There are no buttons, no touching, no facing the screen, like a Wii without the controller or a Kinect without its camera. You simply get close enough to a peripheral that is available, you point at it and start using it.
