NES Startathon

NES Startathon, or NES START, is a first-of-its-kind entrepreneurship module run by students of the NUS Entrepreneurship Society (NES), with the approval of NUS Business School, and in partnership with NUS Enterprise and various industry professionals. NES START aims to equip aspiring student entrepreneurs with the practical skills and knowledge needed for the local startup scene. Designed to allow students to focus on honing and executing their business ideas, the pass/fail, year-long module is split into two phases, awarding 2MCs per semester. The first phase zooms in on the basics of forming their own startups, as well as ideation and validation of ideas, while the second phase will run students through concepts integral to startup formation, such as marketing and financials.
