At Nesja Press we specialize in the art and craft of letterpress printing. We handcraft art prints, coasters, greeting cards, notebooks, poetry broadsides, personalized stationery, wedding invitations, and other fine paper goods. We print with antique, human-powered presses. Our relief printing methods include hand-typesetting, cut linoleum, pressure printing and photopolymer plates. We also offer creative workshops and learning opportunities in our printing studio. Our small, boutique business is based in Mount Horeb, Wis, about 20 miles west of Madison. Co-owners, Christy and Paul Nesja, are a married couple and native Wisconsinites. Christy has a long career in graphic design. Her love for design, typography, color and printmaking are the creative force behind Nesja Press. Paul assists with accounting and heavy lifting, but also excels at creative writing and cartooning. Depending on your project needs, we'd be happy to provide graphic design services as well as letterpress printing, or we can print a design you provide to us.
