Net Zero Tunnelling Group

As a sub group of the British Tunnelling Society, the intention of the Net Zero Tunnelling Group is threefold: 1: Raise the profile of carbon reduction. Share information and best practise from across the industry and avoid duplication of effort wherever possible 2: Establish guidelines / templates for how to approach tunnel carbon reduction 3: Look at establishing baselines on carbon footprint from historic tunnelling projects and ascertain how projects can be better compared to each other The group will also publish good news stories and raise the profile of tunnelling as a modern and forward thinking industry which adds value to the communities within which it works.
