Netvend is a Namibian prepaid utility vending service provider, operational since 2008, and is currently the only fully locally hosted and operated prepaid electricity and prepaid water token generator. Our vending service is unique in that it offers the full chain of prepaid utility vending services, which includes;
• Back-end/token generator: Utility back-end system contains the prepaid customer database and upon request generates the STS virtual tokens (20 digit number) use to load/recharge prepaid utility meters.
• Super Vendor: A Super Vendor system is one that integrates into a utility’s back-end system to offer a wider reach of vending services through a number of vending channels. Super Vendors are often also referred to as integrators/aggregators as they further offer integration with third parties (such as banks) for even wider reach and vending channel offering.
In support of our vending software service, Netvend provides services for the supply, delivery, installation and support of electricity as well as water meters and associated installation hardware.
