WHO WE ARE:
Network for Children’s Rights (NCR) is a non-profit organization aiming to safeguard children's rights as set out by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child [1989].
We are a network built on solidarity and empowered with knowledge and culture, enabling us to improve the quality of life of children and offer them the pleasure and feeling of achievement that come as a result of team effort and group initiative.
ΠΟΙΟΙ ΕΙΜΑΣΤΕ:
Το Δίκτυο για τα Δικαιώματα του Παιδιού [Δίκτυο] είναι μη κερδοσκοπικό σωματείο που έχει ως στόχο την προάσπιση των δικαιωμάτων του παιδιού, όπως αυτά ορίζονται στη Σύμβαση για τα Δικαιώματα του Παιδιού [1989] του ΟΗΕ.
Όλοι μαζί αποτελούμε ένα δίκτυο αλληλεγγύης, που χρησιμοποιεί τη δύναμη της γνώσης και του πολιτισμού για να βελτιώσει την ποιότητα ζωής των παιδιών, να τους προσφέρει τη χαρά και τη δημιουργικότητα της ομαδικής προσπάθειας και πρωτοβουλίας.
VISION AND MISSION STATEMENT:
Our mission is to serve the best interests of the child. Our vision is a world in which all children grow up healthy and happy, their opinion is heard and their rights are respected.
The Network therefore reaches out to all children, regardless of ethnic origin, race, gender, religion or language, through specialist educational programmes, creative groups and extra-curricular activities.
ΟΡΑΜΑ ΚΑΙ ΑΠΟΣΤΟΛΗ:
Αποστολή για εμάς είναι το βέλτιστο συμφέρον του παιδιού. Όραμά μας ένας κόσμος, όπου τα παιδιά θα μεγαλώνουν υγιή και ευτυχισμένα, η γνώμη τους θα λαμβάνεται υπόψη και τα δικαιώματά τους θα γίνονται σεβαστά.
Με βάση τα παραπάνω, το Δίκτυο απευθύνεται σε όλα τα παιδιά ανεξαρτήτως εθνοτικής καταγωγής, φυλής, φύλου, θρησκείας και γλώσσας, μέσα από εξειδικευμένα παιδαγωγικά προγράμματα, δημιουργικές ομαδικές δραστηριότητες, δράσεις μη τυπικής εκπαίδευσης, καθώς και δράσεις ψυχοκοινωνικής και νομικής υποστήριξης.
