About Network75

Network75 is a 5 year scheme combining a part time work placement and study route to a degree; the scheme is unique to the University of South Wales and has been running since 2000. The ethos of the scheme is companies growing talent for the future. Upon completion of the scheme students are equipped with the necessary skills, experience, and knowledge to enable them to take on a full time role. We currently have over 100 students on the scheme in over 60 companies throughout South Wales. Students attend university two days per week and their host company 3 days per week during term time. During all holiday periods students attend their host company for 5 days per week. In return the host company pays the students tuition fees and a bursary; upon completing the scheme the students leave university with no student debt, 5 years of relevant work experience, and a degree. We offer a number of degree areas including; Accounting & Finance, Business, HR Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Computing, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Law, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management. What are the benefits for a company in offering a Network75 placement? - Network75 will provide companies with high quality, highly motivated students who are living locally. - Network75 has an effective and established recruitment process, all applications are carefully filtered and students attend an interview at the university before being considered for the scheme. - Network75 works closely with companies to continually develop their Network75 student whilst ensuring that companies are up-to-date with academic progress. We visit students after the first academic term to carry out a training meeting then annually each academic year after exam results have been confirmed. We can also be contacted at any point should the student/company have questions or want advice etc. - Long-term resource planning - students spend 5 years with the company during which time they grow and develop within the organisational structure. Upon graduation they have the qualifications, skills, experience, and knowledge of a tailor made employee. - Network75 currently has a 100% employability record with graduates and their host companies. - Companies will have the ability to build strong links with the University of South Wales.
