NetworkPeninsula is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that works to build the capacity of nonprofits serving the Virginia Peninsula by providing tools to help them fulfill their missions effectively. Our programs include continuing education, Board Training, networking, and information sharing.
Our mission is to raise awareness of the needs on the Peninsula, encourage involvement from community members & strengthen nonprofits by increasing resources and opportunities available to them.
We believe that a healthy nonprofit sector leads to healthier communities. Nonprofits are a valuable and vital part of every community and should be recognized and supported as such. They work tirelessly to address the issues and problems we see or read about every day. They have the heart, passion, and expertise needed to impact change in our communities.
NetworkPeninsula helps these valuable organizations expand their reach out into the communities in which we live, work, and play. We do this by connecting them to individuals, businesses, civic and faith-based groups and to opportunities and resources that can help them meet the growing needs of our neighbors.
