Neue JÄGER Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG took over the operations of Jäger Maschinenbau GmbH and ZRS Vertriebs GmbH at the start of 2017 as an independent organisation. Jäger Maschinenbau GmbH was founded by Heinz-Helmut Jäger in 1985, originally as a metalworking shop, and grew into machining very quickly later on after establishing a comprehensive machine farm. Today, the company has both a wide range of machining centres and its own welding shop. The manufacturing program currently extends from manufacturing components and assemblies in the scope of contract manufacturing, through development and the construction of custom machines, to an in-house, wide-ranging program of rotary air locks for the bulk materials industry. In today's world, it is not possible to image modern bulk goods handling without rotary air locks. They perform various tasks for dosing, feeding or delivering bulk goods. The conveyed medium can have various characteristics that need to be reliably managed by the rotary air lock. Neue JÄGER has a wide-ranging portfolio of rotary air locks, build samples of which have been submitted to DEKRA EXAM. The rotary air locks can be used as category I devices or as an autonomous protective system for explosion decoupling as per EU directive 1999/92/EG or ATEX 137.
