Neuro Affirm provides Occupational Therapy services to neurodivergent (ND) adolescents and adults in Brisbane, Logan and across Australia via Telehealth. Selah [see-la] founded Neuro Affirm in 2023 by embracing the neurodiversity affirming movement following her involvement in Autism Spectrum Disorder research, by sharing her knowledge on social media (@selahdimech) and presenting at a national conference. Following feedback from clients and clinicians in the ND community, the need for ND affirming therapy was apparent. Neuro Affirm’s mission is for ND individuals to feel affirmed, empowered, understood and comfortable being unmasked. The goal is to equip ND individuals with the tools and knowledge to be able to adapt their environments and advocate for their needs.
