Neural Electronics Consortium

The Neural Electronics Consortium (NEC) is a student-run society founded in April 2023 by a group of students at Hooghly Engineering Technology College. The society aims to connect brains and machines to create intelligent solutions for various problems. NEC is a multidisciplinary society that brings together students from various engineering branches, including electronics, computer science, and biomedical engineering. The society also welcomes students from other disciplines who are interested in neural electronics and artificial intelligence. The society's main focus is on developing low-cost and easy-to-use solutions for real-world problems. NEC members work on a variety of projects, including: 👉 Developing brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) to help people with disabilities communicate and control devices. 👉 Creating AI-powered devices that can learn and adapt to their users' needs. 👉 Designing smart devices that can be used to monitor and improve health and well-being. NEC also organizes workshops, seminars, and hackathons to promote awareness and interest in neural electronics and artificial intelligence among students.
