Neureka

Neureka is a collection of fun brain games, quizzes, and challenges that will help researchers develop new ways of detecting disorders of the brain early. From mental health conditions to dementia, we want to find out who is at risk and why, so we can develop preventative interventions that can be used the world over! To do this, we are taking research out of the lab and into your smartphone, through the Neureka app. On the app, users can complete science challenges, play games and tells us about their thoughts, feelings, experiences and lifestyle. Every minute spent on the app helps researchers move the needle forward in the global fight against disorders of the mind! Our Mission Neureka was developed by scientists in the Global Brain Health Institute at Trinity College Dublin. By playing games on the neureka app, you help scientists conduct the biggest study of YOU and move the needle forward in the fight against disorders of the mind! Worldwide over 450 million people suffer from mental health conditions and a further 50 million are currently living with dementia. Neureka harnesses the potential for everyday citizens to directly contribute to scientific research on dementia and mental health disorders, while playing games that are fun and engaging. Neureka also delivers science direct to the public – we don’t just gather data from our citizen scientist community but we also provide them with the latest in scientific findings relevant to brain health!
