Our aim is to eliminate the time and geographic barriers prohibiting a patient's access to a timely EEG, and thus facilitating a timely diagnosis and treatment for patients with epilepsy. Neuro-Status offers EEG interpretation services to private practice physicians, physician groups, hospitals, and health care organizations. If your practice or facility has the need for routine or ambulatory EEGs, but struggles to get them done, we can solve this problem.
We are able to send a qualified EEG tech directly to your practice to perform EEGs for your patients on-site. We typically arrange for a mutually agreeable time slot (for instance, Wednesdays between 8 Am and 2 PM). The practice or facility will then be granted access to our scheduler and can secure appointments for their patients during their assigned time slot. Our EEG tech will show up on time, perform the EEGs for your patients, and then our epileptologists will review the EEG and complete a detailed professional report with relevant EEG findings, their clinical implications, and potential considerations for further work-up.
We recognize that many facilities and hospitals will have qualified EEG techs employed on-site, but may struggle to get timely EEG interpretation. Neuro-Status is here to solve this problem. We are happy to contract with a facility strictly for the professional epileptologist's interpretation of a recorded EEG (routine and ambulatory). We understand that the patient's care is paramount, so we strive for an under 24 hour turn-around time to finalize reports.
Neuro-Status will be responsible for all billing and collections, and we will retain all medical records for the legally mandated period of time per state.
