Epilepsy is a chronic disease characterized by seizures of enhanced and synchronous electrical activity in neuronal networks in the brain, affecting 1% of the world's population. Importantly, around 30% of the patients do not respond to current medications and their seizures cannot be predicted
Our team developed novel data analysis and machine learning solutions that use non-invasive brain monitoring to forecast upcoming seizures an hour in advance. Our team's goal is turning epilepsy into a disorder that does not limit the ability of patients to enjoy common activities and is no longer life-threatening.
