At the beginning of 2025 the team behind the Neurokindness Community concept hadn’t met or even spoken to each other collectively.
Yet here we are, a registered Community Interest Company. Neurokindness Community CIC.
And what makes it work? We’re all neurodivergent, all unique, all authentic. A collective with shared values, a mission, and a vision.
Being a CIC allows the community to operate as a limited company, however, with a legal obligation that any profits made, along with any assets, belong to the community and can’t be transferred out.
Add to this that there are no shareholders; no one person has voting power over another. A company built entirely on trust and mission.
The model that has the potential to develop a self sustaining ecosystem from within the community for the community, creating connections, resources, and support for neurodivergent adults that, for many, are out of reach.
Our Mission
The Neurokindness Community CIC will empower neurodivergent adults to show up as their full, authentic selves, without masking or judgment, forging deep connections and uplifting one another.
It’s a trusted space to find peers and role models who truly get it. People who’ve walked similar paths and know the struggles and victories firsthand. Together, we build resilience, create meaningful relationships, and grow stronger, not just surviving but thriving through shared experiences and collective wisdom.
Our Vision
We aim to develop a self-sustaining ecosystem of empowerment and leadership for neurodivergent adults, drawing on the community’s incredible wealth of talent, authenticity, and kindness.
