New Beings

New Beings is a collective of passionate professionals on a mission to educate, empower and inspire change. As part of our social arm, we host regular conversations using contemporary issues to discuss race, religion, gender and how these, and other, social identities have an impact individually as well as how they intersect together. We encourage thought-provoking conversations, in the hope of challenging and dissolving negative narratives and adding context to these often complex issues, having hosted this forum style of conversation for both AfroPunk and RockCorp. Our corporate arm creates and delivers bespoke training on diversity, equality, and inclusion in the form of interactive workshops and presentations. We have worked with organisations such as the Forward Institute, SOAS University and the Ministry of Defence to deliver this training, facilitating conversations from unconscious bias to microaggressions, as well as addressing what impacts the recruitment, retention, and progression of staff.
