New Disaster formed from the wreckage of various prominent Austin bands in late 2005 with only one goal in mind: to produce and perform music that the New Disaster boys themselves could be fans of.
Early on, from the very first writing session, the L.A.F. standard of quality was adapted, ensuring that every song produced was fully backed by the entire crew and that every album released would be something that New Disaster themselves would want to listen to. The result has been a rowdy Rock N’ Roll Punk Thrash Assault… otherwise known as a New Disaster…
The DIY attitude is a very prominent aspect in the New Disaster philosophy, and any business that cannot be done within the band itself is outsourced locally whenever possible. New Disaster’s mission is simple: Making-straight-up-rock-n-roll-music-for-straight-up-rock-n-roll-fans.
