New Heaven Dominion, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 Christian, family-based group home based in Jacksonville, FL. New Heaven Dominion (NHD) believes instilling Christian values to the next generation is of great importance and surpasses the emotional and spiritual capabilities of traditional foster homes.
When children with special needs enter foster care from a troubled or abusive background, they are limited to institutions or family-based group homes. While institutions keep children safe, they often lack the personal, family-oriented environment every child needs to develop a stable, successful life. New Heaven Dominion’s Christian, family-based group home offers support with positive community role models, who emulate healthy relationships.
New Heaven Dominion’s mission is to meet the spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional, and physical needs of youth, ages 10-18, in our care. We currently house twelve residents in our boys’ home and girls’ homes. We enable children to build foundation principles for successful living. Our program provides for abused, neglected, and homeless children with resources such as: residential care, faith building, education assistance and training, biblical and workplace ethics, individual and group counseling, and after care.
