NHCDC is missioned because of the historic attacks and ravages of social and economic justice creating disparities that have impacted certain communities more so than others. These disparities created large gaps in the psyche and in the presence of large groups of neighbors perhaps living, working, or recreating in the same, or nearby community. NHCD programs and services propose to address these gaps in economic disparities and to encourage/empower those in community's social programming to be me efficient and inclusive in addressing the social and health issues in the commUNITYs where they serve.
