After a successful ballot in 2021, Newcastle-under-Lyme BID’s second term will run from 2021 until 2026. The BID was officially launched in 2015 following a vote by local businesses to make Newcastle-under-Lyme town centre a designated Business Improvement District.
The BID is a not-for-profit company which is operated by a management team, governed by a board, and works closely with other partner organisations to lobby, support and deliver a range of projects and events. The BID is funded mainly by a levy which is based on the rateable value of businesses within the BID area.
Through a business-led programme of investment our vision is to build on Newcastle-under-Lyme’s traditions by creating a safe, welcoming, forward thinking town for the whole community. We are passionate about supporting the BID businesses to develop and grow successfully through a number of strategies and objectives.
