Founded in 2019, New Journey Jiu Jitsu is a family-owned academy built on resilience, discipline, and community engagement. After overcoming major challenges—including the pandemic—we’ve grown stronger, continually supporting the development of youth, adults, and competitive athletes.
Owned and led by brothers Nathan McKain and John Goldsborough, the academy reflects a shared commitment to excellence in Jiu-Jitsu.
Nathan, a professional engineer and skilled professor, is known for his clear and precise instruction.
John, a decorated fighter and fitness leader, brings championship-level intensity and passion to the mats.
Together, they’ve built a curriculum that balances technical mastery, personal growth, and community values. With support from our tight-knit family team, New Journey Jiu Jitsu fosters a culture of perseverance, leadership, and respect. Their combined experience allows students to develop at their own pace—whether pursuing elite-level competition or simply building confidence, discipline, and physical fitness.
We proudly serve St. Cloud and the greater Osceola County area, providing an inclusive, family-first environment that welcomes students of all backgrounds and experience levels. Our academy is more than a gym—it’s a home for personal growth, mental resilience, and lifelong connections.
