With a BA in Food and Nutrition and a BS in Dietetics, founder Esther Ashurov knows healthy eating. At the age of 14, Esther began her journey with healthy habits. "Growing up, I was always called a 'chubby kid.' Eventually, I realized my chubbiness was not from baby fat anymore, and I decided to teach myself about health." This realization led to Esther incorporating physical activity into her daily life and cutting out sweets from her diet. "In a year, I noticed I started slimming down and felt more confident about myself." As Esther helped herself become healthier, she decided she wanted to help others. At first, it started with giving simple advice to close friends and family. Before she knew it, friends of friends and extended family began contacting her for advice. "One day, it dawned on me: I have the opportunity to continue changing lives and make a living out of it!" We promote natural health, encouraging people to stay away from unneeded medications when possible. A healthy lifestyle can eliminate many health issues, decreasing the need for prescriptions.This belief stems from Esther's experience as a certified pharmacy technician and certified dietetic technician. For ten years, she saw just how many people take medication - often unnecessarily. Thus, NEWtrition by Esther was born! Forget feeling miserable on a diet.
