Newztym is an institution based microblogging network aiming to facilitate topic or event based conversations at the local institution level, while giving optional anonymity to users so as to facilitate free expression. Along with the microblogging service, news aggregation at institution as well as global level is integrated within the platform, and provided in an organized manner in an attempt to provide traditional media organizations a proper place in the new social scenario while creating a more aware audience.
