NEX Exchange Platform
The NEX Exchange Platform is built on an algorithmic architecture framework and forms the
technology basis for all products. Developed primarily in C++ the platform takes
advantage of the unique characteristics of the language—such as the ability to achieve zero abstraction
cost—ensuring no limits on achievable performance.
The team architecting and developing the NEX platform have been responsible for some of the largest
and fastest exchanges in production today, including SIX, HKEx and household names such as NYSE
and NASDAQ. We know what our competitors are doing because we were some of the people behind
what they do.
Key innovations in the NEX platform, to provide enhanced market microstructure as foundations for
the core NEX execution products, include a suite of core order types, such as market, limit,
replenishment and pegged & triggered orders. In addition the core platform also supports direct
interaction between lit and dark liquidity through a single point of access. These features will be used
to provide a base framework on which we can build efficient and deterministic execution products.
