Founded in 2011, Nexmatix is changing the industrial automation industry with the next generation pneumatics - energy efficient and intelligently simple. The platform targets U.S. manufacturers who use pneumatics to make, assemble and package products and collectively spend more than $8 billion dollars each year on electricity to compress air. Nexmatix first product line targets one of the most inefficient pneumatic components on the market, directional control valves. The Nexmatix valve reduces compressed air used an average of 20-40% by using a unique body and spool configuration and micro-electronics that allow recycling of compressed air. However, the benefits of Nexmatix technology goes far beyond energy savings. With on-board electronics and sensors, Nexmatix valves can collect data for analytics on pneumatic systems, including leak detection.
