About Next Generation Advanced Procedures
The Next Generation Advanced Procedures (NGAP) initiative was started in 2013. This initiative takes a systems approach to comprehensively identify the interdependence of external and internal organizational factors which influence how industry can reduce the number of incidents that relate to procedural issues. Furthermore, we use this same approach to determine the elements of procedural systems that are most closely related to effective human performance in high-risk complex socio-technical systems.
