Next Peak Energy is a trusted buyer of oil and gas mineral interests across the United States. We package together multi-asset mineral portfolios with predictable yields and attractive long-term valuations, and then we sell interests in them to private investors via a highly tax advantaged structure. Unlike other mineral investment options, our portfolios qualify for 1031 Exchange treatment without requiring our investors to take direct title to the underlying assets. This allows our investors to defer capital gains taxes by reinvesting proceeds from the sale of investment property into our fully passive, zero-leverage vehicles offering strong yields and regular distributions, all within the strict 1031 timeline. Investors can also invest with cash or via self-directed retirement accounts, and proceeds from our portfolio exits remain eligible for future 1031 Exchanges.
