Next Rung Technology is an engineering and consulting company focused on commercializing emerging technologies. We offer hands-on engineering design, project execution (all FEL stages), business analyses and strategies to teams of all sizes on projects of all scales. Our design approach creates flexible facilities that work Day 1 and Year 2 by understanding technology readiness, variability, risk management and effective to get our clients “Execution Ready”. Founded by a group of startup veterans, we are passionate about solving scaleup challenges with innovative technology design. Moving from the bench top to pilot plants, demonstration scale facilities and first of a kind (FOAK) commercial projects is our primary focus. We differentiate ourselves in our strategies and experience working with technologies that are still evolving while answering the imperatives of scale. Next Rung Technology is based in Greentown Labs, the United States’ largest CleanTech incubator. With a team that brings extensive experience developing technologies in the energy, renewables, water treatment, and environmental sectors, Next Rung has worked throughout the United States, and on four continents. Next Rung has completed projects in a wide variety of industries including alternative proteins, sustainable building materials, emerging water and biosolids technologies, and next-generation materials.
