Next Wave in Business

Next Wave in Business connects Black and Latinx undergraduate students with top U.S. companies. Next Wave in Business is a nonprofit organization that provides a pipeline for Black and Latinx undergraduate students to successfully recruit for and secure internships and full-time employment in business professions. Our mission is to change the face of business leadership by increasing the representation of Black and Latinx undergraduates in corporations around the globe. Next Wave, via its annual conference, provides opportunities for Black and Latinx undergraduate students to develop lasting professional relationships with employers and begin careers in Consulting, Finance, Marketing, and Technology. The annual Next Wave Conference hopes to be the largest conference in the U.S. for Black and Latinx undergraduate students interested in business professions. Black and Latinx students from colleges/universities throughout the U.S. have the opportunity to network with top employers and interview for internship or full-time positions. Beyond mere employment, Next Wave will also help to prepare these students for successful business careers both before, during, and after the annual conference. To do this, the Next Wave team partners with college/university staff, student organizations, and our network of corporate partners to deliver business training, personal coaching, and professional development designed to prepare students to have successful careers in business.
