MK Metal Trading GMBH, known as Nexxtrade, is a metal and metal concentrates trading company I co-founded in 1994.
MKMT traded primarily with copper, zinc, lead, gold and silver on a global scale.
We had offices in Mexico City, Lima Peru, Zug Switzerland and Beijing China.
Overall headcount was 15 traders/specialist.
The company was sold out in 2012 to a major Anglo-Canadian trading house for US$25m.
At the time, MKMT was trading an annual volume of 200,000 metric tons of concentrates worth US$400m and an EBITDA margin of 2%.
