NFPD - No Friends On Powder Days was created in twenty seventeen and was born out of our love of the famous powder from the Japanese alps.
NFPD is snow slang for ‘No Friends on Powder Days’. On fresh pow days, if you wait for your friends to get their shit together, chances are the resort trails will be tracked out before the day has even started!
But never go into the backcountry alone, bring the right avalanche safety gear and get the correct training. Having friends at the same skill level or better and not holding you back on a powder day is an awesome experience to share. You can cherish those all-time moments with and have a safe, responsible fun day out there.
