North Glasgow Community Food Initiative

North Glasgow Community Food Initiative aims to engage the community of North Glasgow in sustainable food related activities. NGCFI works with people from the local communities in North Glasgow, supports thematic groups and individuals with specific challenges. NGCFI offers opportunities for volunteering in the North Glasgow area. NGCFI is activity developing sustainable income streams to help make the projects more self funding in the future as grant funding is no longer as available as before due to cuts and changes in the economy, this also enables the third sector organisation to take advantage of new opportunities.
