NGEOW LAW PRACTICE

The Firm was originally founded by Mr Ngeow Yin Ngee in the year 1978, initially known as MESSRS NGEOW & CO. Mr Ngeow was a prominent litigator and legal advisor for many companies and civil societies. He was very active in litigation cases during his practice. He has also represented and acted for many clients alongside with the Late Mr Karpal Singh in many criminal cases. Upon Mr Ngeow’s retirement from practice, the Firm was inherited by Ms Ngeow Chow Ying in the year 2000, practicing as MESSRS CY NGEOW & ASSOCIATES. The Firm then changed its name to MESSRS NGEOW & TAN in the year 2003 with the addition of a new partner, Mr. Eric Tan Pok Shyong, who now has left to set up his own practice. The Firm saw its first big expansion in the year 2018 upon the merger with Messrs Ding Partnership. Mr Yew Ding Wei who initially joined the Firm as partner upon the merger, left the Firm in 2022. The Firm had another major transformation in 2023. The Firm had its name changed to MESSRS NGEOW LAW PRACTICE in April 2023, and later saw the addition of a new junior partner, Ms Jennifer Farn. The Firm is now under the leadership and management of Ms.Chow Ying Ngeow as the Head of Chambers and Managing Partner, together with Mr. SATIS KUMAR as her Chief Operating Officer taking care of the operation and client managment, under the advise and guidance of Mr Ngeow Yin Ngee, and Ms Jennifer Farn who leads the conveyancing team. The Firm has 10 supporting staffs, most of them have been working with the Firm for more than 10 years. The staffs work as a team and have a good family-like relationship. They maintain a warm and homely feel in the office so that the office is always lively and exciting to work.
