Welcome to the NHS London Elective Improvement Programme page, managed by the NHS London Elective Improvement team.
We support pan-London Clinical Leadership Groups to provide clinical leadership to nine elective care pathways to reduce variation, end to end pathway improvement, improve clinical outcomes, productivity and efficiency.
We engage with senior system and trust leaders across London to build consensus at regional level around new ways of working, using data to support insights and assessing improvements to drive change.
We also work alongside systems to monitor performance and provide support.
By taking a new, innovative approach, the NHS in London can make a huge difference to waiting times and patient experience.
