NHS Shetland

We are the Health Board for the Shetland Islands which are part of Scotland. NHS Shetland is responsible for health care for a population of around 23,000. Our strategic intent is to provide easy access to high quality, sustainable and person-centred care as close to home as possible and make a meaningful difference to the building blocks of good health in our communities. Shetland offers low pollution, low crime, excellent schools, great leisure facilities, unique wildlife and amazing scenery, whilst still only a short flight away from the UK mainland.
