The Nigerian Council of Food Science and Technology (NiCFoST) is a Regulatory Council under the supervision of Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology (FMIST) established by the NiCFoST (Establishment) Act, 2019. The Council’s mandate is to regulate the practice and profession of Food Science and Technology in Nigeria. The Establishment Act of the Council came into effect when President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, signed the Bill into an Act on 15th October, 2019.
