Nicholas Building Association

The Nicholas Building is one of Melbourne's most iconic sites. Home to over 100 creatives for over 40 years, the building's tenants have significant cultural and economic impact across the creative industries and tourism sector. The NBA was formed in 2017 to preserve and nurture the talented tenant cohort and have successfully blocked rent hikes, negotiated rent waivers during covid and produced hugely popular building wide events where thousands of people have enjoyed the diversity of cultural production and the unique arcades, hallways and rooms of the Nicholas. The NBA is now focussing on a bid to buy the building to enshrine its use as a creative space for perpetuity.
