We have developed an accurate non-intrusive sensor technology for vessel level measurement. Our method is based on Guided Ultrasonic Waves and our sensors detect levels of solids and liquids. Measurement of emulsion and foam interface layers is under development.
Our prototype is a result of 20 years research at Fraunhofer IKTS in Germany and a response to a challenge set forward by Equinor, the Norwegian energy major.
We are ready for first trials offshore! Since our sensors are non-intrusive, installation and commissioning is simple and no downtime is required.
