Located in Alserkal Avenue, the flagship roastery serves as operations HQ, with outlets inside City Walk, Madinat Badr and Museum of The Future. Each store is unique in design & offer, ranging from on-site coffee roasting, dine-in eateries & quick service kiosks. Independently owned & operated by an eclectic group of like-minded stakeholders, Leon Surynt is the principal founder, supported by various entrepreneurial partners with experience in beverage, private equity management & high growth start-ups. Nightjar’s signature 'craft on draft' range is distributed in ‘bag-in-box’ solutions, propelled by a proprietary injector system developed to suit this region’s industry & climate. All coffee is via direct trade or fully transparent sourcing, with a focus on cupping & securing contracts at origin. This ensures there is a measured, positive impact on our producer communities, which in turn guarantees stable & high-quality crops season after season, with a consistency of supply that remains unique to Nightjar’s offer. To maintain freshness & integrity, all green coffee is stored offsite in a temperature-controlled, HACCP certified warehouse. Nightjar currently employs 68 team members & is poised for regional expansion in 2023.
