Nimeche Design Challenge

The NIMechE Design Challenge is an annual competition for the exhibition of project designs especially towards a particular theme. The theme is selected based on ongoing trends in the nation or engineering realm. The design challenge is usually in honour of Prof. J. A. Olorunmaiye, a reputable Professor from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ilorin. The Design Challenge over the years has been the singular most recognised and highly intellectual event in Nigeria organised by NIMechE Design Challenge Team, attracting a lot of students, academicians, and professionals in the industry from far and wide. Our mission is to help young people explore the opportunities inherent in today's industry and the quest for sustainable development with emerging technologies and innovation management.
