So why “Nine Lines”?
The name is a nod to the multiple dimensions of connection my work is built upon—between design and function, people and place, vision and material, maker and market. There are nine metaphorical “lines” I follow daily: passion, resilience, craftsmanship, service, adaptability, innovation, collaboration, storytelling, and legacy.
It’s also a subtle homage to the idea of “lines” on a page, map, or blueprint—each guiding a project toward something tangible and meaningful.
And perhaps most literally, it represents the many product lines I proudly bring to the Florida market—beautifully crafted by U.S.-based manufacturers, many of them women-owned, sustainability-driven, and pushing boundaries in our industry.
I started Nine Lines as a small business owner in a new state, representing new clients and forging new connections, 800 miles from where I grew up. It’s both humbling and energizing. I’m building this from the ground up, and every line in this story matters.
