Ninjas 4744

Ninjas#4744 was founded in 2013 at AMAL Hadera of Science & Arts School by passionate FLL alumni who wanted to continue with FIRST programs. Our team competes in the FRC (First Robotics Competition) and has participated in 12 seasons and 4 Israeli regionals since our founding. About FIRST: FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an American nonprofit organization founded in 1989. Its mission is to connect children and teens to science and technology through robotics competitions for all age groups, from preschoolers to high school students. FIRST aims to instill values such as leadership, teamwork, sportsmanship, self-confidence, and communication. Founded by Dean Kamen, FIRST combines sports and technology to inspire students to pursue futures in science and technology. About FRC: FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) is FIRST's competition for high school students. It kicks off on the first Saturday of January each year, when teams worldwide (about 4,000) receive the year's challenge and guidelines via a live feed from NASA. Teams have 6.5 weeks to design, build, program, and test their robots. Regional competitions are held globally at the end of the build season. Competitions consist of several matches between two alliances, each with three robots. The events span three days: a training day, a qualification day (where robots are ranked), and a finals day using a best-of-three format. Winning alliances from each regional advance to the FRC Championship held in the United States.
