Founded by a group of passionate, enthusiastic, and energetic people who came together from different walks of life for a common cause, Nirantharaa, is their way of giving back to society. People from varied backgrounds in Design, Management & Technology, have made a foray into the space of Social Innovation and Impact. We truly believe that India with its rich culture and diversity has a huge opportunity to create products with a global appeal, through a blend of our glorious history, unique designs, ethnic materials and craftsmanship. India may be 'incredible' but the artisans and craftsmen, whose exquisite craftsmanship have helped India earn a distinctive place in the world of art, are not finding economic returns commensurate with their efforts and skills. The idea is to promote Indian culture and its long-forgotten craft and art forms, skills and material-use, in everyday lifestyle and utilitarian products. We want to create a social impact by increasing the livelihood of artisans across India and save our age-old craftsmanship that has been our legacy for centuries. Our vision is to bring out the rich history, culture, traditions & customs of our wonderful country, India through unique designs by blending material, ethnic forms & traditional craftsmanship. Our mission is to revive, encourage, & allow expression of the traditional craftsmanship through our designs, truly handcrafted by artisans.
