Its aim is to play catalyst role in the nation building where each individual has equal opportunities of having three meals a day, education, culture and dignity, equality and freedom that translate into their survival, growth and development beginning with women empowerment in all respect and contribute in the fraternity, integrity and dignity of the country.Amidst last decade of the 20th century, the lives of women and children in and around the district were in grave situation.
