Nirmaan Organization, BITS Pilani chapter

Nirmaan — an organization built on humanitarian values, radiates itself as a community of relentless volunteers who endeavor to change the dynamic of our society. The name boasts dedication, hard work, sweat, tears, and smiles. With the seed sown in 2005, the Nirmaan-BITS Pilani chapter has grown, both deep down to the root level, by channelizing energy towards the lower strata of society and continues to enable people to reach new heights in their lives. This has been the impact of this flourishing organization as it marks its 17th this year, it has been nothing less than a voyage, and its volunteers have indulged themselves whole-heartedly to enrich and empower the native citizens of Pilani. A culmination of eleven active ongoing projects, Nirmaan proactively participates in ameliorating three domains — education, women empowerment, and community development, benefitting hundreds of beneficiaries collectively. The continuous efforts of the student volunteers of BITS Pilani through Nirmaan have thus actually created wide-scale implementation and achieved new heights.
