Nirnayam

Nirnayam was founded in the year 2017 by Devi Anbanandan. Run by a dedicated team of volunteers who are experts in various fields, we are on a mission to empower the girl children from underprivileged sections of our society. Nirnayam literally means decision. Learning ‘how to decide’ is a foundational skill that determines our life path and quality. If an individual can see and understand the choices available to them, taking control of their life will be easy and straightforward. Our society is in need of such good decision makers. As a first step, we aim to bring basic mental clarity and help the girl students with their academic work. This is basically powering them to better understand and grasp academic concepts that form the roots of their education. When learning actually happens, self-confidence is on the rise, leading the students to explore their potential; and self-confidence enables them to be more aware and vigilant of the choices available to them under all circumstances. An awareness of choice, by itself, is the first step towards growth. This gives the students stability that they will leverage upon, to build a future for themselves.
