Nirvikalpa: The Mind-Body Centre is founded by Dr Shyam Bhat, Physician and Psychiatrist, with American Board Certifications in Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, and Psychosomatic Medicine. The centre is an expansion of the Mind-Body Clinic founded in 2011. At this spacious centre, treatments from western medicine, psychiatry, and psychotherapy are integrated with the healing traditions of the east. Cutting edge evidence based treatments including pharmacology, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and VR based therapies are integrated with ancient treatments such as Shirodhara and Abhyangam, Yoga, Bodywork, Meditation and Nutrition science, in an individualised manner. We treat conditions including Stress related disorders, Anxiety disorders, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD. Using our Integrated therapeutic approach, therapy is provided for issues relating to relationships, Self-esteem, Workplace, among others. Under the Integrative Medicine department, Nirvikalpa offers treatments for Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome, Migraines, Hypertension., chronic pain, and preventive heart health. In addition, the Centre conducts programs and retreats to facilitate Self-Realisation, the full flowering of human potential.
