Nishorama

Nishorama is a name born from connecting the names of four family members. The journey began with the mum and dad in Jaipur, creating beautiful cloth painted in celestial colors, block printed with designs on carved wood, almost like hand-printing our culture on a sheath you can wear. The journey from Jaipur to Mumbai was embarked upon with nothing but a huge bag of these block-printed kurtas, one hand gripping the bag, the other holding the train handle, jousting with hustle. Both grips were tight so none were lost. Door-to-door visits paid off. After almost a decade, they converted into customer visits to the first wholesale office in Dadar. This office was a warm sight, busy with the cutting, stitching, and correcting of garments made with the huge rolls of cloth printed back in Jaipur. Door-to-door visits also paid off in educating the two lovely children, the founders of Nishorama. @Ramnekchhipa was always meant for business. Everyone saw it in him. With his idea of shifting from wholesale to retail and franchise, at the age of 20, he had a goal: to make it the next big thing in the global market. Because our culture provided quality, and the beauty wasn’t even a point of discussion. In the fast-paced, mass-produced city of Mumbai, strings needed to be drawn to take a moment and appreciate the slow-fashioned, handmade, feather-like clothing. It did solve issues, you see. Cotton, linen, Chikankari, and other materials solved the heat problems. A promise to stitch every garment according to the sizing of our customers helped solve the problem where we still think that we are meant to fit clothes, not the other way around. The prints, colors, and styles from Indian to Indo-western to modern solved the problem of our culture fading away as generations moved on.
