The NITRAA Mentorship Program is an initiative of the NIT Rourkela Alumni Association (NITRAA) in collaboration with the Institute, NIT Rourkela. The program launched in 2020 and has been successfully growing ever since.
The purpose of the mentorship program is to help alumni transition into their new careers by pairing them up with more experienced alumni that can provide them with coaching, guidance, and encouragement. Part of the richness of this program is the national and international diversity of participants, providing mentees and mentors with an opportunity to get to know each other having a different cultural background.
This program is not meant to be an employment platform, but rather an opportunity for mentees to connect with alumni who are more experienced in their career field of choice, and as a result can act as a sounding board for career development, ideas, and concerns.
